Daisy at just turned 1 year.
Weight is over 45kg will check next time at vets as I can no longer lift her in to scales lol
All teeth are through now, and she's had her first season, and phantom pregnancy bless her !
She loves people and other dogs and doesn't have a bad bone in her body...
She loves her cuddles....
And thankfully slobber is minimal, only noticed when she's had a good run in the field! Phew!!
Daisy is a Bullmastiff puppy, growing daily! I will be posting highs and lows on puppy training.... follow my journey to make the best of her warm loving friendly personality. I have BIG plans for her, she will be helping me with what we have already started, or my son Jack Marshall started :).....wait and see ;) pl also see http://www.jacksfund.co.uk thank you :)

Daisy leg injury
On Saturday I took daisy to
Puppy training as normal, it was there that the beginnings of an expensive day started, she was acting rather Excitable that morning and promptly fell whilst bounding towards me, leaving her led whimpering on the floor and frightening the life Out of myself & Craig, she wasn't standing or walking at all We lifted hefty daisy into the car and whisked her to the vets, where they Seemed v worried bout her lameness (they did say after they thought her lameness was that bad she'd broken her leg). Anyhow one anaesthetic & X-ray later, we were told no breaks of ligament damage....phew...we brought her Home where she slept & we carried her back end round if she needed 2 go outside, eat or drink. rest was the order if no improvement back on Wednesday
.Daisy stood at gate tail wagging looking round at me.I'd carried her that far, where'd she want to go now I Opened the gate, and she hobbled here my side of the bed, bless her
Lots of cuddles to make her better

And still growing found a lump on her neck so she's on antibiotics at the moment
Energy is outweighing her walking as can only walk a little due to watching her joints (to make adult life better for her)

Training
Training had gone backwards *nervous laugh* as daisy hits adolescence
Although new sticks to date are, speak, crawl AND walking nicely on the lead, as opposed to hilariously dragging me across the field where she wants to play.
I have decided NO ONE can actually help me teach daisy to walk nicely on the lead except er me, as it's not worked yet ha ha, I am avoiding the excitement of the field until we have at least established NO PULLING AT ALL!
Training stands....WIP= work ongoing
Sit
Down
Stay
Wait
Watch -WIP
Come STILL working on that
Speak
Crawl
Find it
Hide n seek LOVE this one
No jumping up (all guests given instructions when they come in the house lol)
Leave it - WIP
Fetch it - WIP
Drop it - at my feet WIP
Her puppy biting seems to have subsided in part except when josh (bouncing teenager) starts playing then I have to intervene....
Her temptation to chewing is still ongoing, she is never left unattended therefore any damage is at a minimum, and I do go out on my own, on occasions ha ha....and I have the trusty 'crate' to be thankful for, keeps daisy safe! No really it does ;)
Tips always appreciated
Any suggestions on new tricks to greatly welcomed :)
Toodleloo for now :)
